The Bauer Vapor X800 Lite Shoulder Pads boast high-end protection at an approachable price. Key impact areas like the chest and spine showcase elite HD foams or PE inserts while the base layer promotes cooling ventilation with perforated mid-density foams. The collarbone utilizes Free Flex technology that allows the molded PE inserts to move with the body, thus keeping protection where it needs to be at all times. New to the Vapor line this year is Sanitized Technology found throughout the hydrophobic mesh liner. Directly embedded into the fabric, Sanitized prevents odor-causing bacteria from building up, and it never washes out. Unlike some of the competition, the X800 Lite features shoulder caps that attach to the body of the shoulder pad with nylon straps. This allows for a better range of motion without creating gaps in protection. Unlike the caps, the bicep guards are adjustable so players can tailor their pad for the perfect fit
