VAPOR X3.5 SKATE SENIOR
The Vapor X3.5 fit is enhanced through a one-piece 3D Poly carbon quarter package and a TPR outsole. The quarter package provides a solid fit in the ankle and heel while the outsole gives the skate more flexibility for ease-of-use; an important feature for the new hockey player who might not yet need a very stiff boot for performance. Inside the boot, Bauer includes memory foam padding around the ankles for increased support. This material gives you the feel you want and keeps you comfortable as you develop your skills on the ice. Bauer also added design elements to our microfiber liner, to further enhance the overall feel and appearance of this skate. The X3.5 also includes a 40oz felt tongue with mesh metatarsal guard for increased protection and comfort at the top of the skate; the Lightspeed Pro II holder to lock in your blade; and the S Stainless steel runner for added durability. If you’re a recreational player or new to the game of hockey, you certainly aren’t restricted to this price point. If you want the top technologies and performance features that Bauer has to offer, resulting in more comfort, a better fit, and improved performance, it is certainly worth it to consider a higher end Vapor model like the 3X Pro. But if you’re looking for an affordable and comfortable skate that offers good features at a great value, the Bauer Vapor X3.5 is a great option.
